The treasurer’s report was heard. The treasurer discussed recent years’ budgets; we have usually spent more than we took in. The finance committee reported on their discussion of this question. 2010 budget reductions reflect our straitened circumstances, and are about equal to last year’s deficit. Friends agreed to accept the proposed budget, and commend the treasurer and the finance committee.

Friends discussed house upkeep. There is nothing urgent at the moment. We will re-roof the garage this spring.

Friends discussed the Communiversity class to introduce us to the wider public. This is in process.

Friends discussed contributions to Haiti. Friends agreed to contribute $200 from VOPS to the AFSC Haiti fund, in recognition of Frank Vaughters (local Kansas City physician who appears to have died in the earthquake).

Friends discussed the phone bill. AFSC simply changed voice service from one phone company to another.
